Dear Peter,
I am immediately struck by the differences in the rate of transfer speed, the ordering and depth and the size and type of exchange of energy and cross-over between the conscious and subconscious happening in this piece "Diary of a Traveller" and another of your works https://www.peterseelig.com/display-works.php?img=12985&br=0" target="_blank"> In A Blue Mood Beyond The Visible
Both pieces share an unfocused and focused crossover of tracery fragments of a deep language (beyond or before the formation) of words and gestures overlapping and made visible simultaneously on one surface.
You have embraced the constancy of time and space in flux, describing different energy fields in each of these pieces.
What you are addressing (and I am witnessing as the viewer) is "the now" which is forever living and dying, beginning to come into being, making an impression and disappearing, all in the same breath. And something that you are capturing bits of.
To create such works as these you have embraced so many things: The idea of the preconceived is gone, replaced by now which embraces the idea of chance... perhaps from a historical time perspective from the occurrence of instantaneity on a molecular level to billions of light years of space time.
Deep space and the infinitude of time are colliding and bouncing off of each other, seems to be part of the equation in both of these works.
In The "Diary OF A Traveller", distinguishes itself from "In A Blue Mood Beyond The Visible " in its line quality which seems to link up in a type of script form which may reference human history as well as the differences in mediums and energy cycles of the coexistence of diurnal and nocturnal worlds.
The life and energy that (came before), was, the life that is the now and the life that is to be ( the future now) have become the layout and characters of your palette. What is to be desired (focused signal) and noise, the degrees of background distortions overlapping between the two pieces are very very different.
You have blended Art, Science, Psychology, Astro and Meta physics and chemistry and so much, as it flows from your finger tips.
Thank you for sharing your extraordinary gifts
